Cruise Night

On Aug 12, 2017 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM By Greater Freeport Partnership: Main Street

Cruise Night is a car show in downtown Freeport in it's 39th year. We have over 1,000 cars that come participate and about 13,000 people that come to enjoy the cars. This event takes a full year to plan and without our volunteers would not be possible. Here are our two volunteer job descriptions we are seeking: Park Lot Assistants: 4 - 7 p.m. & 7 - 10 p.m. Helps direct cars to their designated parking spaces in our parking lots. We run 3 hour time slots for this job. Cruise Directors: 7 - 8:30 p.m. & 8:30 - 10 p.m. Directs the cars during the Cruise, occasionally stopping traffic to let pedestrians cross. We usually run 1 ½ hours time slots but you can chose to do the whole time. Every volunteer that signs up to help will receive a Cruise Night t-shirt and have access to water.
