Volunteer Advocate provides 24-hour on call crisis intervention to survivors of sexual assault or abuse at the FHN Emergency Room (on call evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays 5-7 days a month). Volunteers will need to commit to one year of service with the agency, attend a 40-hour Sexual Assault Crisis Intervention training curriculum, and complete a criminal background check (finger print scan). The training curriculum is free, however, interested volunteers are required to attend each and every session.
Training dates will be Wednesday evenings (5:30pm – 9pm) September 5th to November 14th 2018.
